About Us

Mission

To enhance, support, and strengthen youth education and leadership in the Washington, DC area.

Vision

We provide community enrichment, academic support, physical activities, and life skills development to help youth become lifelong learners and future community leaders.

What We Do

  • Raise funds to support youth programs and public safety initiatives across the DMV
  • Donate food, including Thanksgiving turkeys and care packages, to students and families in need
  • Offer college scholarships to support higher education access
  • Participate in and organize community events that uplift and connect local youth

Mustafa Akpinar has been involved in education, community organizing, and small business ownership in Northern Virginia for two decades. He has worked as a teacher and principal in multiple countries. Previously, he served as the principal of Pinnacle Academy from 2010-2016, worked as a teacher at Prince William County Public Schools fro

 

Mustafa Akpinar has been involved in education, community organizing, and small business ownership in Northern Virginia for two decades. He has worked as a teacher and principal in multiple countries. Previously, he served as the principal of Pinnacle Academy from 2010-2016, worked as a teacher at Prince William County Public Schools from 2004-2010.

Mustafa served as board president of FBI Citizens Academy-Washington Field Office from 2014-2016 and is currently president of the Washington D.C. Community Youth Foundation, a non-profit that provides community enrichment, academic and physical activities, and social life skills for children to become lifelong learners and community leaders. Mustafa is actively engaged in various other non-profit organizations, including the advisory board of the Police Chief of Fairfax County, and the Rumi Forum.
